Exile

Exile was a punishment invented several 100 years ago where the society forced a person to leave his country instead of killing him. If he returned, he would be killed.

Now exile is often used when parents who immigrated to a new country with a different culture, decide to send their children back to the country and culture they left because they feel that their children adapts too many of the local customs.

In some countries – Denmark is one of them – parents risk 2 years prison to a start. Some parents have been held in prison until their children are adults of age.

Swedish and UK authorities recommend teenagers who are about to be forced abroad to hide a metal spoon in their underwear to they can get time without parental presence with the custom staffs and get protection from the state.

In the United Kingdom, the authorities have created a hotline and a special team so teenagers can be brought back to the civilsation.
