843. Eliada Children’s Home

Children at the Eliada Children’s Home has been removed by the state authorities. Their license were suspended meaning that the children must be removed to protect their safety.

An article mentions that three children were reported injured in “serious occurrences” in the facility over just one weekend.

Furthermore in a three-month span from November 2018 through January 2019, documents say, there were 81 cases of Eliada employees using “restrictive interventions” with clients. That is a clear sign that the employees were not trained to talk to the children in a way where such actions could be prevented.

It could not be fun to have been placed at the facility as a teenager.
