831. Storm King School

When children live on boarding schools separated from their parents who are supposed to protect them from abuse and sexual advances, they live an exposed life.

That can be true for students at Storm King School. In 2011 a parent claimed that he was not keep up-to-date about possible rape of his daughter. Possible cover-up by employees is the theme of an article from PRlog.

In 2020 The Daily Voice reported an arrest of a student on suspicion of several cases of abuse and child endangerment.

This show that precautions are needed to make sure that the students are protected when they are forced to live as exposed to dangers as children are in boarding schools.

It cannot be fun as a teenager to be victim just because your parents are too busy with their own lives so they fail the job as a parents leaving you unguarded.
