554. Treloar College

Some decades back Treloar College was the cutting edge when you had to place a child suffering from haemophilia. However the treatment included use of blood from people which were not properly screened and now only a few former students are alive. Most died from use of blood of poor quality.

It could have been fun to be there safe from bullies in the outside world which didn’t understand how difficult it is to live with this illness but in the end it was not fun because a stay turned out to be a death sentence.
